Overview
Waxing is a popular and profitable method of hair removal. This qualification will enable you to establish a regular client base. On completion of this course successful students will be awarded a professional certificate and advice on obtaining insurance in order to perform the therapy on paying clients.
This course is offered as:
- An intensive course, which is 2 days plus an assessment

Entry requirements
GCSE Maths and English is advisable but there are no formal requirements.
Your course includes:
- The academic and practical study of Hair
- Health, safety and Hygiene
- Related anatomy and physiology
- Preparation of client & room
- Contra-indications & contra actions
- Hair growth and types
- Alternative methods of depilation (hair removal)
- Practical techniques to the face and body
- Benefits, treatment planning and aftercare
- You will learn the importance of recognizing contraindications to a therapy.
- Preparation of the work area consultation, record keeping and medical referral.
- Our excellent facilities will give you the best examples of how to conduct an exceptional hair removal treatment.
- You will be given a full course folder included in this course to refer to as you practice at home
- Salon days at the Aqua Rosa Studio will provide continued assessments.
- You will receive a professional certificate that will allow you to acquire insurance and perform this therapy on paying clients.
