Overview
This course is a comprehensive academic and practical study of basic hairdressing. Level III hairdressing will give you the further skills to become a highly regarded hairdresser. On completion of this course successful students will be awarded a professional certificate and advice on obtaining insurance in order to perform on paying clients.
This course is offered as:
- An intensive course, which is 20 weeks allowing students to study one day a week plus final exam on completion of course work.
- A 40 week course allowing students to study 1 evening a week plus final exam.

Entry requirements
A previous certificate in level 2 hairdressing is required.
Your course includes:
- The academic and practical study of Hair and scalp analysis
- Health, safety and Hygiene
- Related anatomy and physiology
- You will learn the importance of recognizing contraindications to a therapy.
- Preparation of the work area consultation, record keeping and medical referral.
- Advanced cutting
- Advanced Styling short and long hair
- Advanced colouring and colour correction
- Creative skills
- Our excellent facilities will give you the best examples of how to work as an exceptional hairdresser.
- You will be given a full course folder included in this course to refer to as you practice at home
- Salon days at the Aqua Rosa Studio will provide continued assessments.
- You will receive a professional certificate that will allow you to acquire insurance and perform this therapy on paying clients.
