Overview
This 1 day course is a short yet comprehensive academic and practical study of make-up. It will give you the basic knowledge of becoming a make-up artist enough to make sure it is the right career path.
You will study with us for one day and will need to wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes are advised. Please let us know on application if you are not willing to have make-up applied on the course.

Your course includes:
- The academic and practical study of the Make-up application and skin care.
- You will learn the importance of recognizing contraindications to a therapy.
- Preparation of the work area.
- Your experienced tutor will advise you of a full make-up routine step by step
- Health and safety
- Tools of the trade
- Basic foundation
- Eye make-up
- Lips and cheeks
- You will have the opportunity to practice the steps learned.
- The course includes the study of after care of your clients
- Our excellent facilities will give you the best examples of how to provide an exceptional make over.
- You will be given a full course folder included in this one day workshop to refer to as you practice on friends and family.
- You will receive an Aqua Rosa certificate that will allow you to go on to undertake a professional course.
