Overview

Our 3 day course will teach you the skills you will need to become a successful on site massage therapist.

This course is intended to provide training for massage therapists to expand their practices into areas where it my not be appropriate or possible to perform massage on a couch. This therapy is performed often with the client fully clothed and on a specially designed therapy chair or even a work chair.

It is designed to distress and relieve tension, help your client feel relaxed and work individual muscle groups and pressure points.

Many events in today's society make way for opportunities to provide this kind of stress relieving massage. A competent therapist would be able to build up a good client base with regular contracts.

You will study with us for three days and will need to wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes. Please let us know on application if you are not willing to receive massage on the day course.

Entry requirements

A certificate in A & P Swedish Massage or similar is required

Your course includes:

• The academic and practical study of the benefits and effects of this therapy.
• Origins of on site massage
• You will learn the importance of recognizing contraindications to a therapy.
• Preparation of the work area, client and self.
• Your experienced tutor will advise you of a full massage routine
• You will have the opportunity to perform a full massage routine.
• The course includes the study of after care of your clients
• Our excellent facilities will give you the best examples of how to conduct an exceptional therapy.
• You will be given a full course folder included in this three day workshop to refer to as you practice this therapy.
• You will receive an Aqua Rosa certificate.
